Lady Misfits & Co was born from a simple truth: not fitting in is a superpower. For too long, women and underestimated individuals’ workers who were strong, practical, hands‑on, or mechanically minded were treated as outliers — misfits in the best possible way. We decided to build a business around that energy.
Our organisation was created not only to deliver exceptional service to every client, but also to create a workplace where staff can grow, expand their skills, and build confidence without feeling judged or unsafe. With more than 15 years’ experience across multiple industries including trades, as a Human Resource Manager our Managing Director has coached countless “misfits”. The biggest barrier to their growth was rarely skill or motivation; it was their environment and the fear of standing out and judged for their "misfit ways"
